Welcome to one of the largest islands in the Gryt Archipelago! Beautiful Ämtö offers a unique natural landscape. Here, you’ll discover oak groves, historic farmlands, rocky pine forests, coastal meadows, wetlands, smooth cliffs, and sheltered bays—a diverse environment perfect for both relaxation and adventure. The shallow bays and rocky shores make the island an ideal spot for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Come and experience the magic of summer in the archipelago with us!
On Ämtö, you’ll find twelve cosy cottages surrounded by swimming spots, fishing waters, and lush archipelago forests. The cottage village is nestled in the heart of the nature reserve on the southeastern part of the island, just 150 metres from the beach with stunning views of the sea and the inner waterway “Sjöfyran.”
On Ämtö, you can rent our wood-fired sauna, whether you’re staying in a cottage or arriving by boat. Relax in the warmth and feel the calm as you gaze out over the sea bay. Take a refreshing dip in between and let the adrenaline flow.
